Customer Orders/Right to modify
Nassau Bay EMS is the owner of logo and dictates the intent of this storefront and the standards by which the items in it are personalized. Addition of items to the storefront and the personalization options must be approved by Nassau Bay EMS. The personalization details ordered by customers may be modified for compliance with their uniform policy and may be done so without the end users approval. A text or e-mail will be sent to the contact information provided with your order as notification if a change needs to be made.
Sale of Items:
Any orders placed requesting personalization with the Nassau Bay EMS design(s) must be made by the Chief of NBEMS. Validation of orders will be made and purchases cancelled/refunded if not authorized.
Returns
Returns will not be accepted once items have been decorated; no refunds for items that have been decorated. Return/Refund of all other items must be requested within 10 business days of receipt of items/delivery date.
Privacy Policy:
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Products you’ve viewed. This is to offer similar product items and/or available coupons for those items;
- Location, IP address and browser type: this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address to estimate shipping before you place an order, and to mail the item after the order is placed.
- Cookies to keep track of cart contents while browsing the site.
When you place an order, you’ll need to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. Collection of this information is to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Set up your account for our store
- Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
- Improve our store offerings
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to:
- Verify your access to the site,
- Verify requests for personalization of items when governed by a uniform policy,
- Provide user support with the website,
- Populate the checkout for future orders.
After an account has been inactive for a period of 3 years (no logins or orders) then the user information will be deleted and any personal information contained in orders will be replaced as “Guest” information. You may request deletion of personal information before that time by sending an e-mail to info@threadbearer.com and upon confirmation all personal data will be erased.
Contact form containing personal information will not be used for marketing purposes and will not be retained for greater than 1 year.
The contact form submission data — IP address, user agent, name, email address, website, and message — is submitted to our third party Akismet service (also owned by Automattic) for the sole purpose of spam checking. The actual submission data is stored in the database of this site and is emailed directly to this site owner. This email will include your IP address, timestamp, name, email address, originating website/storefront, and your message.
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you with IT/Website development and improvement.
We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you; for example, USPS and UPS. Shopping history, not personal information, is shared with third party entities via website plugins for analytics, order management, inventory/stock management, and payment gateways.
We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
- Data Used: Transaction amount, transaction currency code, product title, product price, product ID, order quantity, PayPal payer ID, and PayPal transaction ID.
- Activity Tracked: The PayPal payer ID, transaction ID, and HTTP referrer are sent with a payment completion tracking event that is attached to the site owner.
- Data Synced: PayPal transaction ID, PayPal transaction status, PayPal product ID, quantity, price, customer email address, currency, and payment button CTA text.
